Club Support - Join OAYP

The benefits of becoming a member

Club Visits and Over the Phone Support

Supporting affiliated clubs and groups is the most important part of OAYP’s work. We ensure that all affiliated clubs are visited throughout the year to offer support and guidance to club workers. We will arrange a visit to you or you can call us if you have a specific need. Outside of this we are available during office hours Monday to Friday to deal with enquiries either over the phone or by email, with any advice, support or information you may require.

Club Leader’s Guide

All affiliated voluntary clubs will receive a copy of ‘Club Life’, our Club Leader’s Guide. It is a valuable resource with information on setting up and managing a youth club, template session plans and ideas, activity cards and up to date policy documents.

Provide Model Policy Documents

For Clubs wishing to start up, or looking to update their policies, we can provide templated forms to assist you with this. These may be for Health and Safety, Child Protection or a Constitution. All our documents have been recently updated and will continually be updated and available for clubs to access throughout the year.

CRB Advice and Checks

As a registered body with the CRB we have a dedicated CRB Administrator, who can assist you with all elements of the CRB process, including advice on who needs to be CRB checked and how documents can be checked off.
